There comes a time...

...when everyone outgrows certain things. Sometimes it's something material, like clothing or shoes. Sometimes it's a behavior, like biting nails or being self centered. Sometimes...sometimes it's relationships. Friends, family, whatever, I know plenty of people that I've drifted away from over the years or who have drifted away from me.

And you know what? It's okay. We're all meant to have different paths in life; sometimes those paths stay together, sometimes they diverge. Yes, it hurts. It hurts like a son of a bitch. But it's healthier to let it go and move on than it is to cling to someone that doesn't want to be clung to.
